The Nissan Leaf Next Gen Is Confirmed To Have Over 200 Mile Range! Brand New Innovation By Nissan!

Kazuo Yajima, Nissan`s director of HEV and EV engineering, said that he doesn`t know when the release date of the new Nissan Leaf will be. But, he said that the Nissan Leaf next gen will have a 60 kWh battery pack!

The Nissan Leaf with its 60 kWh battery pack will have double the capacity of the current Leaf which has a 24 kWh battery pack! Meaning that the Nissan Leaf next gen will deliver twice the driving range than the today`s Leaf! Depending on conditions, the new Nissan Leaf should be having a driving range of 210-220 miles!
Nissan is definitely not standing still and will challenge the upcoming Tesla Model 3 and the Chevy Bolt EV!
