Why Is The Desired Nissan GTR Skyline Illegal In The US? This Video Provides A Very Good Elaboration On The Reasons!

There have been only myths and speculation as to why the Skyline is illegal in the US. This time, thanks to JDM OVERLOAD, we may have a clear reason. Of course, the reason is not because this car delivers so much horsepower that the police Ford Explorers and Crown Vics can`t keep up. If this was the case, then a lot of American muscle cars like the Corvette Z06 would be banned as well. So, why is the coveted Nissan GTR Skyline illegal then? This video will give you the real definite reason. It makes a lot of sense.

Basically in a nutshell, every country has regulations that call for manufacturers to build to certain specifications. The US has very high standards when it comes to emissions and safety regulations. The Skyline just doesn`t fit the bill. That doesn`t mean it`s impossible to drive one in the US. However, you need to spend tons of cash in order to bring the car up to US specs. The Skyline was also fairly unknown in the country some 15 years ago. To Nissan, the low demand was not worth converting the car to meet US regulations. Any other reasons according to you as to why is the Nissan GTR Skyline illegal?

FIVE Tips About What You Should Not Do When Driving A Manual Transmission Car!

A unique trait of the American car market is that they mostly sell automatic transmission cars! There are quite a lot of people who have never driven a manual transmission car, and some have never even seen one! But they do exist, and they are not much different from your normal automatic car. That is one of the reasons why we present you this really informational video that tells you what you shouldn`t do while driving a manual transmission car.
There are 5 question and answers in this video, and we recommend you check them all out! The first question that pops up is “is it okay to rest your hand on gearshift while driving“? The quick answer to this one is no. The reason why you should not rest your hand is actually really simple. When you are selecting a gear, you have a selector fork and you are pushing that selector fork up against the rotating collar.
If you are resting your hand on your gearshift, you might be applying extra pressure on the fork against the collar, and by doing that, you can wear out your selector fork, making it more difficult to change the gear! The second thing discussed is “should you put the car in neutral when you come to a stop“. This is recommended, and the reason why is cleverly explained. The guy in this video has a pressure plate with him, to precisely explain why you should put your manual transmission car in neutral while not moving.
These are just two of the five tips mentioned in the recording below. Make sure to watch the whole video in order to hear them all. Altogether, this video is a great way to learn something more about driving a manual transmission car and what you should and shouldn`t do while sitting behind the wheel of one. We highly recommend you check out this video and acquire new knowledge!

I DROVE A SKYLINE, and It Was Insanely Awesome! This Is A Real Dream Come True Moment!

Unless one is a notoriously hardcore American muscle car aficionado, and does not even want to hear the name of any import, then, he might be outside this group of interest. But I believe that in most of the other cases, it would not be wrong of me to say that getting behind the wheel of the legendary Japanese `street fighter`, the Nissan Skyline GTR R34, is a dream come true moment for every passionate Gearhead.
Given the fact that just a little more than a decade, the Nissan GTRs was almost unknown to the wider audience in the United States, the role of the legendary blue Skyline GTR R34, which Paul Walker drove in the forth installment of the “Fast & Furious” saga, was quite significant in making this ride known and popular.

Thus, in the last ten years (or so), the Nissan Skyline GTR models have become amongst the most desirable imports, not just in America, but all over the world. Which is why recently, a new company from Japan began converting the cars into left side drive models, so that people outside Japan, Great Britain and Australia, could freely enjoy the pleasure of ripping off the asphalt in their home countries with them.
But still, getting a chance to drive a Nissan Skyline GTR R34 is much rarer than some other ride, even one of those hypercars like Lamborghini, or Ferrari, or Bugatti Veyron, or any other. Therefore, we hope the following video that we have prepared for you in this Skyline GTR article, would have a positive effect on many of you, and maybe even stimulate you to gain such an experience yourself.

Just Take Your Pick: SKYLINE GTR R34 Vs GTR R32 REV BATTLE!!!

his surely would not be the first time that `we are presented` with such a bitter choice and ungrateful task. To have to `choose`, or decide which one of these legends we prefer or like better. Because, everyone who knows (at least) a thing or two about these legendary Japanese rocket-sleds, the original Godzillas, the Nissan GTR specimens from the Skyline series, knows well that trying to make any kind of comparison between them is an ungrateful thing to do. They`re all awesome in their own way, and each one of them has its own trades that make it what they are. One of the very best imports that has ever felt the smell of the American asphalt!

Thankfully, we do not really face such a `challenge`, but we simply have a cool opportunity to enjoy this short revving battle between two great Nissan Skyline examples: one white Skyline GTR R32, and another Skyline GTR R34, with a `classic` “Fast & Furious” paint job, metallic blue!

Unfortunately, we do not have any information about what`s hiding under the hoods of these Godzilla beasts, but we don`t have any doubts that they`re both fast and powerful, and up to their legendary reputation.

So have a look at the video below and enjoy this great music for your ears! Afterwards, you can sound off your thoughts about them in the comment section below!
